Chapter 1

What is Go LocalPilot AI?

Go LocalPilot AI builds a professional website for your business in under 60 seconds using artificial intelligence — no coding, no designers, no monthly agency fees.

💡 Why this matters

93% of customers search online before hiring a local contractor. Without a website, you're invisible. LocalPilot gives you a professional web presence that captures leads and books appointments automatically — even while you sleep.

1
Your site is AI-generated
Claude AI writes your headline, about section, service descriptions, and SEO content based on your trade and location. No copywriting needed.
2
It captures leads automatically
Every visitor who fills out the contact form is saved to your dashboard. You get an email notification instantly.
3
Customers can book appointments online
Enable the booking calendar and customers can schedule directly on your site — no phone tag required.
4
An AI receptionist works your site 24/7 ✨
A built-in assistant greets every visitor, answers questions in any language, captures leads, and even books appointments — see Chapter 10.
Chapter 2

Building Your First Site

Your site goes live in under 60 seconds. Here's exactly how to do it.

1
Go to localpilot.pro/app
Click Build My Site from the homepage or navigate directly to the builder.
2
Select your trade
Choose from 25+ trades — Plumber, Electrician, HVAC, Painter, Landscaper, and more. This tells the AI what kind of business you run.
💡 If your trade isn't listed, pick the closest one and you can edit the details later.
3
Enter your business info
Business name, city, state, phone number, and email. This is what appears on your site.
4
Pick your web address (optional)
Give your site a clean, memorable address like localpilot.pro/your-business. Type a name in the Your Site Address field and we'll tell you instantly whether it's available. Leave it blank to get an automatic address.
🌐 A short, branded address is far easier to share on business cards, trucks, and social media.
5
Choose your color scheme
Pick from 8 professional color palettes. You can always change this later.
6
Click Generate — done!
Your AI-powered website is built instantly and goes live at the address you chose — for example localpilot.pro/your-business (or an automatic localpilot.pro/… link if you left it blank).
🎉 You'll get a confirmation email and can preview your site immediately from the dashboard.
Chapter 3

Editing Your Site Info

Keep your site up to date — hours, address, phone, services, and more.

1
Go to your Dashboard
Navigate to localpilot.pro/dashboard and find your site card.
2
Click the ✏️ Edit button
The Edit Site Info modal opens with your current information pre-filled.
3
Update any field
Phone, email, address, city, state, zip, hours, service area, description, and social media links. All changes reflect on your live site instantly.
Changes are live within seconds — no waiting, no deployment.
4
Change photos, text & theme with 🎨 Edit Content
On your site card, click 🎨 to open the content editor. Rewrite your headline and About text, edit your services and reviews, add / reorder / remove photos, rename your business, and switch your color theme — then save to re-render, no rebuild needed.
📸 No photos of your own? We automatically add professional, trade-matched stock photos so your site never looks empty — swap them for your real work anytime here.
✅ What updates automatically

Phone number, address, Google Maps embed, business hours, service area, social media links, and your About description all update the moment you save. Photos, headline/About copy, services, reviews, and color theme update through the 🎨 Edit Content editor.

Chapter 4

Enabling Online Booking

Let customers book appointments directly on your site — no phone calls needed.

1
Open Edit Site Info
Click ✏️ Edit on your site card in the dashboard.
2
Enable Online Booking
Toggle the 📅 Online Booking switch to on.
3
Set your availability
Choose your working days, start time, end time, and appointment duration (30 min to 3 hours).
💡 A plumber might set 2-hour slots. A barber might set 1-hour slots. Match your typical job length.
4
Save — booking goes live
A 📅 Book Online button appears on your site. Customers pick a date, time, and enter their details. You get an email notification for every booking.
🔒 How slot locking works

When a customer selects a time slot, it's temporarily locked for 5 minutes while they fill out their details. This prevents double-bookings in real time.

👥 Booking with a team

Have more than one person taking appointments? Open 🏢 Manage Business → Team, add each team member, and turn on "Takes appointments" for anyone who should be bookable. Customers can then choose who they want to see, and each person gets their own calendar. Set each person's working days and hours (and days off) right from the Team panel — leave them blank to follow your site's booking hours.

Chapter 5

Managing Appointments

View, track, and cancel appointments from your dashboard.

1
Click the 📅 Appointments tab
In your dashboard, click the Appointments tab to see all upcoming bookings.
2
Appointments are grouped by day
Click any day to expand and see customer name, phone, email, service requested, and time slot.
3
Cancel if needed
Click Cancel on any appointment. Both you and the customer receive a cancellation email automatically.
4
Manage each team member's schedule
If you book with a team, open 🏢 Manage Business → Team. Each bookable person shows 🕐 Hours (set their weekly availability and days off) and 📅 Bookings (see just their upcoming appointments).
Chapter 6

Optimizing Your Google Business Profile

Your GBP listing is the #1 driver of local search traffic. LocalPilot helps you optimize it with AI.

1
Click the 📍 GBP tab in your dashboard
Select your site to see your GBP optimization score and checklist.
2
Check your score
Your score shows how complete your GBP listing is. Aim for 80%+ for maximum local search visibility.
3
Generate your AI description
Click ✨ Generate to create a 750-character SEO-optimized business description. Copy it into your Google Business Profile.
4
Generate weekly posts
Get 4 weeks of GBP post ideas in one click. Post weekly to keep your listing active and ranking.
📈 Businesses that post weekly on GBP get 5x more views than those that don't.
5
Respond to reviews with AI
Paste any customer review and get a professional response in seconds. Responding to all reviews signals trustworthiness to Google.
6
Request a review from a happy customer
On your website card in the dashboard, click ⭐ Request Review. Enter the customer's name and email, paste your Google review link once (it's saved for next time), and hit send. They get a friendly, branded email in their own language with a one-tap button to leave you a review.
✉️ Sent by email, so it works for every customer anywhere — no phone number needed. Ask right after you finish the job, while they're still delighted.
7
Let review requests go out automatically
After a booked appointment date passes, LocalPilot automatically emails that customer a review request using your saved Google link — once per booking, no action needed. You can turn this off per site in the Edit Site settings.
Chapter 7

Understanding Your Leads

Every customer who fills out your contact form is captured as a lead.

1
You get an email for every lead
LocalPilot sends you an email the moment a customer submits the contact form with their name, phone, and service request.
2
Leads get automatic follow-up emails
The customer automatically receives a confirmation email, then follow-ups on Day 2, Day 3, and Day 7 — keeping your business top of mind.
3
Call them within 5 minutes
Research shows that calling a lead within 5 minutes of their inquiry increases conversion by 900%. Don't wait.
📞 Set a notification on your phone for LocalPilot lead emails so you never miss one.
✅ Built-in consent

Your contact form includes a required consent checkbox — the customer ticks it to agree to be contacted before they can submit. It names your business and mentions follow-ups and unsubscribe, so you're capturing leads the right way with no setup on your part.

🎉 You're all set!

You now know everything you need to get the most out of Go LocalPilot AI. Build your site, enable booking, optimize your GBP, and watch the leads come in.

Salon & Spa Booking

Run a salon, spa, barbershop, nail bar, or studio? LocalPilot turns your site into a full booking system — services, specialists, and a client-facing booking popup — with no extra tools.

Your clients tap Book Appointment → pick a service → choose a specialist → pick a time — all in a popup, on any device.
1
Your site is booking-ready automatically
When your trade is a salon, spa, barber, nails, skincare, lashes, brows, or massage business, LocalPilot builds a dedicated elegant template with the booking popup already wired in — no setup toggle needed.
2
Add your services
Open 💆 Manage Salon → Services and add each service with a name, duration, and price. The duration sets how long each booking blocks — a 45-minute manicure and a 2-hour balayage each reserve the right amount of time.
💡 Group services by category (Hair, Nails, Facials…) and clients see a tidy, grouped menu.
3
Add your team — bookable instantly
In the Team tab, click + Add staff, enter a name, tick the services they perform, and save. That's it — no email invites or logins. They're bookable right away during your business hours. Use the 🕐 Hours button on each person to set specific days and times, or add time off.
🕐 You manage everyone's schedule from one place. Staff never need to log in — they just tell you their hours and you set them.
4
Clients book online, 24/7
On your site, the Book Appointment button opens the booking popup: service → specialist (or "Any available") → date & time → their details. You and the client both get a confirmation email, and the slot is locked so it can't be double-booked.
5
Run everything from Manage Salon
The 💆 Manage Salon panel has tabs for Appointments (the whole-salon calendar — cancel or reschedule for anyone), Services, Team, Reviews, Waitlist, and Settings (buffer between appointments, business hours, time zone).
6
Reviews, portfolios & waitlist do the selling
After each visit, clients get an email to rate the specific specialist they saw — those ratings and a photo portfolio show on each specialist's booking card. When a day is full, clients join a waitlist and are emailed automatically the moment a cancellation frees a spot.

Selling Products

Sell retail products right from your site — whether you're a salon adding a shop (retail products alongside your services) or a store that's all commerce.

Your storefront — customers tap a product, then Reserve for pickup. Theme auto-matches your site.
1
Open your shop manager
On a salon site, go to 💆 Manage Salon → 🛍️ Shop. On a retail-only store, your site card shows a 🛍️ Manage Shop button. Same product manager either way.
2
Add your products
Click + Add product and fill in a name, price, up to 8 photos, a description, and an optional category and stock count. Toggle Show in shop to publish or hide it.
📸 The first photo is the one shown in the grid — lead with your best shot.
3
Your storefront goes live
A product grid appears on your site automatically — a Shop section on a salon site, or the homepage of a retail store. Customers browse, open a product, and see the full description and photos.
4
Customers reserve for pickup
They tap Reserve for pickup and leave a name plus a phone or email. You get an email with the request and their contact; they get a confirmation. You arrange pickup and payment in person.
💳 Online checkout & card/mobile-money payment are coming next — for now it's reserve-and-pay-on-pickup.
🛍️ One shop, two ways

Add a few retail products to your salon site, or run a store that's pure commerce — it's the same simple product manager and the same beautiful storefront. No extra tools, no separate platform.

Chapter 10

Your AI Receptionist ✨

A friendly assistant lives on your website 24/7 — it answers customer questions, captures leads, and even books appointments, in the customer's own language. It's built in, and there's nothing to install.

💡 Why this matters

Most visitors leave without ever calling. The AI receptionist greets every visitor, answers instantly, and turns curiosity into a booked appointment or a captured lead — even at 2am, even in a language you don't speak.

1
It's already on — look for the 💬 bubble
Every published site gets the assistant automatically, as a chat bubble in the corner. It already knows your business — services, hours, service area, and phone — straight from your site. Nothing to set up.
2
It answers questions 24/7 — in the customer's language
Visitors can ask about your services, hours, or coverage area any time and get an instant, on-brand reply. If they write in another language, it answers in theirs. It only uses your real information — it never invents prices, guarantees, or reviews.
3
It captures leads for you
When someone wants a callback or a quote, the assistant collects their name and phone and saves it as a lead — and you get the same instant email (and phone alert) you'd get from your contact form.
4
It books appointments (on booking-enabled sites)
A customer can simply say "book me a haircut with Melissa tomorrow at 2pm" — the assistant checks your real availability, reads back the details to confirm, and books it. It never makes up a time or double-books, and the appointment lands in your dashboard like any other.
5
Customers can talk to it 🎤
There's a microphone button — visitors can speak instead of type. Their words appear in the box to review, then they hit send. Perfect on phones.
6
Turn it on or off per site
In your dashboard, each site has a 🤖 AI receptionist button. Use it to switch the assistant on or off for that site whenever you like.
✨ Always honest

The receptionist only speaks from your real business info and your real, live availability — so you can trust every answer it gives a customer. No made-up prices, promises, or reviews.

FAQ

Common Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions from small business owners.

Can I choose my own web address?
Yes — when you build your site you can pick a clean, branded address like localpilot.pro/your-business (subject to availability). Leave it blank and we'll assign one automatically. Connecting a fully custom domain like www.johnsonplumbing.com is on the roadmap — contact support to discuss your needs.
What languages does LocalPilot support?
The dashboard, the builder, and the websites we generate are available in English, French, and Spanish. Switch languages anytime from the ⚙️ Settings menu — your site's content is written in the language you choose.
How do customers find my site?
Share your site URL on your business cards, Google Business Profile, social media, and in text messages to customers. The more places you share it, the more leads you get.
What happens when someone books an appointment?
You receive an email with the customer's name, phone, email, service request, and time slot. The customer receives a confirmation email. The slot is blocked on your calendar so no one else can book it.
Can I have multiple sites?
Yes — the Pro plan supports up to 3 sites and the Agency plan supports up to 25. Each site can be a different trade, location, or business.
Is my site mobile-friendly?
Yes — every LocalPilot site is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices. Most of your customers will find you on their phones.

Chapter 1

The Agency Opportunity

As an agency manager, you build and manage LocalPilot sites on behalf of your clients — contractors, trades businesses, and local service providers.

💡 Why agencies love LocalPilot

Traditional web agencies charge $3,000–$10,000 to build a contractor website and $200–$500/month to maintain it. LocalPilot lets you deliver the same result in 60 seconds at a fraction of the cost — keeping the margin for yourself.

1
You manage everything from one dashboard
All client sites appear in your dashboard. Build, edit, preview, and publish sites on behalf of any client without switching accounts.
2
Agency plan supports 25 sites
The Agency plan ($397/mo) gives you 25 published sites. That's $15.88 per client site — easy to mark up at $97–$197/month per client.
💰 10 clients at $97/mo = $970/mo revenue on a $397/mo plan. That's $573/mo profit before you do any extra work.
3
Leads and bookings go directly to your client
You configure each site with the client's email and phone. All lead notifications and booking confirmations go directly to them.
Chapter 2

Setting Up a Client Account

Before building a client's site, gather the information you need.

1
Gather client info upfront
You need: business name, trade, city, state, phone number, email address, and years in business. Optional: address, hours, service area, social media links.
📋 Use the intake form below to collect this info before your onboarding call.
2
Log into your LocalPilot dashboard
All sites you build are attached to your account. You are the site owner and manager.
3
Build the site using the client's info
Go to localpilot.pro/app and enter the client's business details. The AI generates their site in 60 seconds.
📋 Client Intake Checklist

Chapter 3

Building Sites for Clients

You can build a complete client site in under 5 minutes — including editing and customization.

Go to localpilot.pro/app, enter the client info, and click Generate. The AI writes all content instantly.
2

3
Edit as needed
Use the ✏️ Edit button to update any fields — hours, address, service area, description, social links. Changes go live instantly.
4
Enable booking if client wants it
In Edit, toggle Online Booking on and configure the client's availability hours and slot duration.
5
Optimize their GBP listing
Go to the 📍 GBP tab, select the client site, generate their AI description and weekly posts. Share with the client to paste into their Google Business Profile.
6
Publish the site
Click Publish on the site card. The site goes live at the web address you chose while building — e.g. localpilot.pro/client-business (or an automatic localpilot.pro/… link). Share this URL with your client.
🎉 Give each client a clean, branded address — it looks far more professional than a long auto-generated link. Total time from intake form to live site: under 10 minutes.
Chapter 4

Managing Multiple Clients

Keep all your client sites organized and up to date from one place.

1
All sites are in your dashboard
Every site you've built appears on the 🌐 My Websites tab. You can edit, preview, or manage any client site with one click.
2
Monitor client appointments
The 📅 Appointments tab shows all bookings across all sites. Filter by site to see a specific client's calendar.
3
Update client info when needed
When a client changes their phone number, hours, or address — just click ✏️ Edit and update. Changes are live in seconds.
4
Run monthly GBP optimization
Once a month, go to the 📍 GBP tab for each client, generate fresh weekly posts, and send them to the client to publish. This keeps their listing active.
📈 This monthly touchpoint also keeps you top of mind with the client — reducing churn.
5
Suspend a client's site if they stop paying you
You bill your clients directly, off-platform, however you prefer — LocalPilot never charges your clients. If a client stops paying you, open their site card and click Suspend 🔒 to take the site offline. It stays dark until you click Reactivate. This is your collection lever — no awkward chasing required.
🔒 Suspend only affects that one client's site. All your other client sites keep running normally.
Chapter 5

Pricing Your Agency Services

How to price LocalPilot services for maximum profit and client retention.

💡 Recommended Pricing Structure

Charge clients a one-time setup fee plus a monthly management fee. LocalPilot is your backend — you pay LocalPilot for your Agency plan, and you bill your own clients directly, off-platform, at whatever price you set. LocalPilot never bills your clients and takes no cut of what you charge them. If a client stops paying, suspend their site from your dashboard.

1
One-time setup fee: $299–$799
Covers building the site, editing content, enabling booking, and GBP optimization. This is a one-time charge per client.
2
Monthly management fee: $97–$197/mo
Covers hosting, updates, monthly GBP post generation, and support. This is your recurring revenue.
💰 15 clients × $97/mo = $1,455/mo recurring on a $397/mo Agency plan. Net profit: $1,058/mo.
3
Upsell booking setup: $99 one-time
Charge extra to configure the online booking system. Takes 5 minutes but saves clients hours of phone tag every week.
Chapter 6

Client Reporting

Keep clients informed and happy with simple monthly reports.

1
Monthly report template
Send each client a simple email every month covering: site status, new leads received, appointments booked, GBP posts published, and any updates made.
2
Highlight wins
Always lead with positive metrics — leads received, appointments booked, GBP views. This justifies your monthly fee and reduces churn.
3
Recommend improvements
Suggest one improvement each month — add photos to GBP, respond to reviews, update business hours. This shows ongoing value.
🤝 Clients who feel cared for stay longer. A 5-minute monthly email can mean $97/mo for years.

Chapter 1

Who Is Your Ideal Customer?

Not every business is a good fit for LocalPilot. Here's how to identify the ones that are.

✅ Best fit customers

Solo contractors and small trades businesses (1–10 employees) who have no website or a terrible one, are actively looking for more leads, are already using Google Business Profile, and are in a competitive local market.

1
Target these trades
Plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, roofers, painters, landscapers, carpet cleaners, pest control, handymen, carpenters, and masons. These trades have high job values and strong local search intent.
2
Look for these signals
No website or a website that looks outdated. GBP listing with no photos or few reviews. Active on Facebook but no professional web presence. Running word-of-mouth only.
3
Where to find them
Google search your local area for trades with no website. Check Nextdoor and Facebook Groups for local contractors. Ask your own network — plumbers, electricians, and landscapers are everywhere.
🎯 Search "plumber near me" in your city. Every result without a real website is a prospect.
Chapter 2

The Sales Pitch

A simple, honest pitch that works — no sales experience required.

💡 The one-sentence pitch

"I build professional websites for local contractors in 60 seconds using AI — it captures leads and books appointments automatically. Want me to show you what yours would look like?"

1
Lead with the demo, not the pitch
Build a sample site for their business before you contact them. Show them what their site could look like. This is 10x more effective than describing what you do.
"I already built a sample site for your business — want to see it?" always gets a yes.
2
Focus on one pain point
Don't overwhelm them with features. Pick one: "You're losing customers to competitors who have websites" or "Imagine customers booking appointments while you sleep."
3
Handle objections simply
"I already have a website" — "Great, does it book appointments automatically and capture leads?"
"I'm too busy" — "That's exactly why you need this — it works while you're on the job."
"Too expensive" — "One extra job per month more than pays for it."
4
Close with a simple ask
"I can have your site live today for $299 setup and $97/month after that. Want to get started?" Keep it simple — don't give them too many options.
Chapter 3

The Demo Flow

How to run a 10-minute demo that closes deals.

1
Build their site before the call (2 min)
Use their business name, trade, and city to build a sample site. Have it ready at the start of the demo.
2
Show the site first (3 min)
Share your screen and pull up the preview. Let them see the headline, about section, services, contact form, and Google Map. Let the site do the talking.
3
Show the booking calendar (2 min)
Show how customers can pick a date and time. Walk through the booking confirmation flow. This is usually the moment they say "I want this."
4
Show the lead capture (1 min)
Submit a test lead through the contact form. Show them the email notification that arrives instantly. "Every time a customer does this, you get an email like this."
5
Close (2 min)
"I can have your real site live today — with your actual phone number, hours, and address. Setup is $299 and $97/month after that. Want to do it now?"
🤝 Strike while the iron is hot. The longer between demo and close, the lower your conversion rate.
Chapter 4

Onboarding a New Client

From signed deal to live site in under 30 minutes.

1
Collect payment
Use Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, or whatever you prefer for the setup fee. Set up recurring billing for the monthly fee. You bill your client directly — LocalPilot never charges them and takes no cut.
🔒 If a client ever stops paying, open their site card in the dashboard and click Suspend to take it offline. Click Reactivate once they're paid up.
2
Get their info
Use the intake checklist from the Agency track — business name, phone, email, address, hours, and social links.
3
Build and customize their site (10 min)
Generate the site, edit all fields, enable booking if applicable, and verify everything looks right on the preview.
4
Optimize their GBP (10 min)
Generate their AI description and 4 weeks of posts. Send to the client with instructions on where to paste them in Google Business Profile.
5
Send the handoff email
Email the client their live site URL, explain how leads and bookings work, and set expectations for monthly check-ins.
A smooth handoff builds trust and reduces support requests. Spend 5 extra minutes here to save hours later.
Chapter 5

Growing Your Reseller Business

How to scale from your first client to a recurring revenue machine.

1
Ask every client for a referral
After a successful launch, ask: "Do you know any other contractors who could use a site like this?" Trades people know other trades people.
2
Target trade associations and groups
Join local contractor Facebook groups, attend trade association meetings, and sponsor small local events. One presentation to 20 plumbers can land 5 clients.
3
Build a portfolio page
Create a simple page showing 3–5 client sites you've built. "Here are sites I've built for local contractors." This social proof closes deals faster than any pitch.
4
Offer a free trial site
Build a free sample site for a prospect. If they want to go live, they pay the setup fee. The sample site itself is your best sales tool.
🚀 Your first 10 clients are the hardest. After that, referrals do most of the work.
5
The math at scale
20 clients × $97/mo = $1,940/mo. 25 clients × $97/mo = $2,425/mo — all on a single Agency plan at $397/mo. Net: $2,028/mo working part-time.
